DX340 loud beep on beltpacks
I have a DX340 set with 6x all-in-one (WH340) beltpacks
It is used on location for camera crew.
Some headsets give a loud audio beep now an then. What can cause this?
Answer:
The loud bleep in the headsets is when the base is running out of battery power.
If it is running on batteries alone I suggest it needs a PSU.
If it is running on both, I would suggest removing any batteries in the unit in case a faulty cell is brining the supply voltage down.
We suggest you also check which PSU they are using on the base to make sure its the correct one as supplied with the unit and not from another DX product
