Question: Matrix: What default TCP/IP ports doesEclipse EHX use?
From EHX V7.0 to V9.1 (current) Solution: Default TCP/IP ports used by the Eclipsesystem are: Port 6001 for IP Panel communications, Port 42001 for ECS communicationsand 1300 for the matrix eventlog. Ports 42001 and 1300 are used by the UDP/protocol. Eclipse system administrators areadvised to check with networkadministrators or IT that these default ports may be used without causing a conflict with anyother application on the network. The Eclipse processor card can use astatic IP address (recommended) or be configured for DHCP from EHX softwaresystems layout screen. Each IVC-32 card requires a staticIP address. It is recommended that theseaddresses are issued by IT or the Network Administrator to avoid conflicts with any other systemon the network and are not part of the DHCP dynamically assigned range. Summarybc is broadcast data i.e: 192.168.42.255 (directed broadcast packets NOT global broadcast packets which are 255.255.255.255)dir directed. (standard point to point TCP/IP packets)
Matrix event log - udp\1300 dir
HCI - tcp\52001 - tcp\52020 inclusive

Map & Firmware download - udp\42003 dir (from 5.2 or later ) - udp\512 dirpreviously. Latter still used by 5.2 ECS to upgrade old frames.
Rack to Rack comms - udp\42001 bc,dir (also used by EHX for matrix discovery and Production Maestro for vox information)
LMC64 - udp\42003 bc
IVC32 - Configurable, defaults to tcp\6001
IP Panel discovery - udp\5000 bc
