Question: Matrix: What default TCP/IP ports does Eclipse EHX use?
From EHX V7.0

Solution: Default TCP/IP ports used by the Eclipse system are:

Port 6001 for IP Panel communications,

Port 42001 for ECS communications and

1300 for the matrix event log. Ports 42001 and 1300 are used by the UDP/protocol. Eclipse system administrators are advised to check with network administrators or IT that these default ports may be used without causing a conflict with any other application on the network. The Eclipse processor card can use a static IP address (recommended) or be configured for DHCP from EHX software systems layout screen. Each IVC-32 card requires a static IP address. It is recommended that these addresses are issued by IT or the Network Administrator to avoid conflicts with any other system on the network and are not part of the DHCP dynamically assigned range.

HCI - tcp\52001 - tcp\52020 inclusive
Map & Firmware download - udp\42003 dir (from 5.2 or later ) - udp\512 dir previously. Latter still used by 5.2 ECS to upgrade old frames.
Rack to Rack comms - udp\42001 bc & dir (also used by EHX for matrix discovery and Production Maestro for vox information)
