M4250 basic setup (AV UI Login)
Connecting to the switch
Connect to the OOB port on the switch. By default, if no DHCP server is present on the network, the OOB port will have an IP address of 192.168.0.239.
Configure your ethernet interface to an address within this range (eg. 192.168.0.222) and use a web browser to navigate to 192.168.0.239. You should be presented with a login screen.
Use the login name admin and click ‘AV UI Login’ (no password is required the first time you login).
You will then be prompted to change the password. Do so, and then login once more with your new password.
Admin VLAN setup
Go to ‘Network Profiles’ and scroll down to ‘Profile Templates’
Click on the cog icon next to ‘Data’
Select all of the ports which will connect to the ClearCom Admin LAN
(Matrix LAN, E-IPA Admin LAN1, EHX Config PC)
Scroll down to Profile Settings and give this profile a name, VLAN ID and (optionally) a colour.
Scroll down further and enable ‘VLAN Routing / DHCP Server’
Give the VLAN interface an IP address.
Enable the DHCP server and configure the pool.
Click Apply.
AES67 VLAN setup
Go to ‘Network Profiles’ and scroll down to ‘Profile Templates’
Click on the cog icon next to ‘Audio AES67’
Select all of the port which will connect to the ClearCom AES67 LAN
(E-IPA AoIP LAN3, IP Transceivers)
Scroll down to Profile Settings and give this profile a name, VLAN ID and (optionally) a colour.
Scroll down further and enable ‘VLAN Routing / DHCP Server’
Give the VLAN interface an IP address.
Enable the DHCP server and configure the pool.
Click Apply.
Saving the configuration
Scroll to the top of the page and click ‘Save’ to commit this configuration.
