Station-IC: Cannot Download/Install CodeMeter/License Manager
This article refers to client hosted licensing of Station-IC, a licensing option where the license is contained on the same computer as Station-IC.
This article does not refer to the alternative Permanent Eclipse Hosted License option.
Once Station-IC is installed the user has the option to Download and Install the CodeMeter License Manager utility to keep a license on the computer. The distribution of this utility is kept separate to minimize size.
In controlled corporate networks it may happen that the Station-IC application is blocked from going to the internet to download the CodeMeter Installer. To work around this the CodeMeter installer can be downloaded and installed manually after Station-IC has been successfully installed.
