Can I Connect a Trilogy Gemini to an Eclipse HX Matrix?
We have various ways to interconnect the two systems via tie lines.
Connect via 4-wire
Connect via MADI
It is possible to connect the MADI Mark1 or Mark2 card to the trilogy system. If you use the Eclipse Madi MK1 card you need to use a word clock input on both systems
Connecting this way is basically using tie lines between the two systems.
You can map the Trilogy MADI card, to any 8 MADI ports of the Eclipse HX Madi (64 ports)
Connect via SIP
We can make SIP calls from a Trilogy panel to an EHX panel and vice versa.
You can configure Auto answer on the Gemini which means you get talk and listen audio as soon as the call connects.
On the EHX matrix end the connection is via the LQ box and there is approximately a 3-5 second delay before the incoming tally is showing on the Eclipse panel.
If you put the LQ-SIP line as a permanent member of a Partyline on the Eclipse matrix, the audio connects approximately 3-5 seconds after dialling from the Trilogy Gemini intercom panel
