Matrix: Can I assign a label onto a key on different panel from my V-series panel
Can I assign a label onto a key on a different panel from my V-series panel. I am the technical engineer in the studio and sometimes the operators ask for label to be assigned onto a blank key on their panel during the production.I know I can do this - from the PC via online mode - or grant access to the operator to assign the label locally from their panel, - or use the Supervisor mode and take remote control of their panel however I wanted to know if was any other solution
AnswerIt is possible using the V-series the "System Configuration menu" option to assign a label onto another panel that is on your local matrixThe System Config menu option has to be enabled via ECS, when in the system config menu select remote panel (the target panel) then follow the normal steps to assign a label to a key
It is not possible however to remotely assign a label to a remote panel key on another system.
