Matrix GPI For Port Mute
Question: Is itpossible to mute an output port by activation of a GPI on the Median HX matrix? I amlooking for an easy way to mute the studio speakers (for when using studiopaging fed through the intercom matrix with PGM+Talkback). Lookingthrough the EHX Software User Guide I could only find logic input options forthe GPIs on panels, not on the frame.
Answer: Yes. Steps:1) Program Feed PORT named PGM in thisexample with Forced Listen under Local Advanced
2) Create an inhibit talk Route for PGM.
3) Create a Control label MUTE PGM (can be any label that’s relevant) andattached route to assigned the Control
4) Go to GPI 1 and attached Control “Mute PGM"
5) Apply changes to Matrix withreset.
