Matrix: EHX v8.7 software setup of Sort Groups for Assign mode use
Sort Groups are groups of items such as controls, fixed groups, IFBs, interfaces, panels and party-lines that can be
treated as a single item and accessed via EHX v8.7 software using the Assign Special Entities key in EHX for V-Series
panels or Freespeak II beltpacks via menu mode to assign a member of the sort group to a key.
Selecting Sort Groups in the EHX Setup menu displays the sort group editor.
1.) Create Sort Group names by clicking on "New" and typing in names for each individual Sort Group
2.) Once the Sort Groups names are created they need to be populated with members using the members
available tabs as shown below
3.) Select the items and move them from the available section to the attached section via the > arrow or by double clicking
the mouse button.
4.) In the attached section the user can see what items are now associated with the highlighted Sort Group. To edit
the membership of a sort group simply use the < or > arrowheads to add or remove an item.

beltpack or from the Master Menu on a Freespeak II beltpack to locally assign keys on panels or FSII BPs.
