Matrix: V-series T-adaptor panels using DIG-2 interface not working at EHX V8.7
We have a DIF-102 with two DIG-2, we can’t seem to get our digital panels working via the DIF-102, the ports work when connected via the analogue port
DIF-102 and DIG-2 interface are obsolete and no longer supported using EHX v7.6 or later
DIG-2 and T-Adaptor Support
From Eclipse version HX 7.6 and above, the DIG-2 and T-adaptor modules will not be supported. These modules may continue to work in Eclipse-HX system; however, their operation will not be tested as part of our software release process. Although it’s unlikely that compatibility will be compromised in the short term, we provide no undertaking to investigate or cure any issues with DiG-2 operation which might be introduced in HX 7.6 an above.
As a non -supported work around you can downgrade your few T-adaptor panels to use the ECS 524 panel version of the code. Leave all other panels running the correct version of EHX firmware
Change your T-adaptor panel to V5.2.4 firmware release.(this will require a TFTP one-to-one direct PC to Panel downgrade)
( App = 1.89 Uboot = 17 Module 0.38 Kernel = 2.6.19 Root FS = 3.1.0 March 19 08 )
Because the ECS 524 panel code is from an earlier release it may not support all new functions in the latest EHX firmware release.
