Other: I am inquiring about the best way to clean the headsets, both the plastic parts and the leatherette earpads
Question: I am inquiring about the best way to clean the headsets, both the plastic parts and the leatherette earpads. We have some alcohol prep pads that are used for first-aid purposes, but they are 70% and I don't want to dry out the surfaces too much.
Answer: Simply mix a few drops of mild dish detergent with warm water. Then, using a slightly dampened cloth, wipe down the headphones. Baby wipes may also be useful if you are concerned about drying out surfaces since as they clean they leave a mild lotion depending on the brand. Of course alcohol in diluted forms is great for a disinfectant.
