What is the process to upgrade an ECLIPSE matrix and system?

The  Eclipse version 5.x.x upgrade process is, in general, as follows:
1)      First, we export your configurations to your MY DOCUMENTS folder, so they will be able to be imported into the new version of ECS that you will use with the updated system2)      We will then update the CPU cards on your Eclipse frame. The CPU update takes less than five minutes 3)      Then we will upgrade each MVX card to the new code needed for the application upgrade we just completed Each MVX card (you have six cards in your present configuration) will take an additional 5 minutes.4)      Other cards (Integra, IV32, etc.) also need upgrading in some cases and that process is a bit more complicated, but should not take more than 15 minutes.5)      Now each v-panel (you have 32 of them) requires several files to load through a TFTP utility and each panel is updated individually via an Ethernet connection from the laptop directly to the individual pane. This is a bit time consuming…about 4 to 5 minutes per panel and then, the panel must “digest” the files before rebooting about 5 to 6 minutes later. 6)      After all the v-panels are updated via the TFTP utility, they are additionally upgraded via the Eclipse frame (through ECS) for their last application code release update. This update will reach all v-panels simultaneously. They will then all need about 15 to 20 minutes to process the code before rebooting and return to service.7)      Other panels usually require an upgrade through ECS and it is pretty fast and easy. Occasionally, we need to change an EPROM when it does not process the chip in the panel correctly. 8)      We will then load the new version of ECS on all you computers that need it and import or upload your configuration into the new software.
