Matrix: I-Station Configuration For AUX-101 GPI's on Eclipse

To access the two GPIs on the I-Station the panel must have an AUX-101 fitted to the panel.  The logic functions are accessed from ECS software Matrix Hardware (or Card & Ports) advanced settings column.  To properly wire a foot switch or similar switch to the GPI connector see diagram and instructions below.
To operate logic input #1, wire the foot switch or similar across pin A (pin 2 of DB-25F connector) and the +5 volt line (pin 2 of DB-25F).  To complete the wiring connect a jumper wire between Digital Ground and pin B (jumper between pins 14 & 15 of DB-25F).
To operate logic input #2, wire the switch between pins 3 & 10 of the DB-25F and connect a jumper wire between pins 16 & 23 of the DB-25F to complete the wiring circuit.

Assign function(s) to the GPIs by accessing Eclipse software settings for the specific i-station via the Matrix Hardware  (Card & Port)/ Advanced Settings / Logic Inputs, select a function for the logic input and apply/download to the Eclipse frame.  See list below for available functions for Logic 1 and Logic 2.
