RS-601 RS-602 RS-603 beltpack will not program

The beltpack will not accept user programming. I have turned on Channel exclusive to chA on my RS-603 beltpack. I now want to change this to channel B and it does not happen.
The solution to this is to perform a factory reset.
Hold down the Set-up button until "P" appears. Release the Set-up buttonHold down the CALL button and press the Set-up button again. Now release the Set-up button whilst continuing to hold CALL
This will default your beltpack. You can now continue to program the beltpack, you are unlikely to have any further programming issues.
