Partyline: How do I wire an AB-120 for STADIUM MODE (for a PA announcer) when using a comms matrix system
When you want to use the AB-120 for a stadium or arena announcer's mic and comms, you can use the TALKBACK port to go to the main mixing board, so when the talent pushes the TalkBack button, the mic will be routed to the arena/stadium's audio console. But when not pressed, the IFB in could come from the comms matrix and the MIC OUT could go to that same port's input (It is actually a low LINE LEVEL source).Attached are pinouts for the RJ-45 to Male and Female XLRs from the perspective of both a Matrix Port and also from the perspective of a base station device, depending on what you are attaching the AB-120 and your comms to. The other attachment shows where to put these XLR connectors. NOTE: The 6pin Headset connector MUST BE AN "S" type 6 pin connector. Either the Neutrix NC6MXs http://www.markertek.com/product/nc6mxs-bag/neutrik-nc6mxs-bag-male-6-pin-xlr-cable-connector-black-nickel or the Switchcraft, 6pin original standard:https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/homeA=details&O=&Q=&ap=y&c3api=1876%2C%7Bcreative%7D%2C%7Bkeyword%7D&gclid=CjwKCAjw8IXMBRB8EiwAg9fgMJ46tLsZfTNQ4rgRERny7uW3k2wy22je__RJCQ502-ruHRA3ouBQ_hoCltAQAvD_BwE&is=REG&m=Y&sku=929717
