Matrix: My IP panels momentarily drop out on apply changes to frame downloads
Question: I upgraded an Eclipse frame and panels from EHX 7.6 to EHX 8.0 and noticed that with an apply changes the IP panels were losing connection and that shouldn't be happening. I don't remember seeing that happening before and was hoping that you could point me to a solution to this issue.
Answer: The problem is probably a difference in the connection mode setting between the panel and the matrix.
Check the panel settings in EHX Cards and Ports / IVC-32 Card / IP Port Options.
Then check the panel Connection settings in the panel local menu.
The ports in EHX and on the panels should agree on one of the following settings:
LAN
WAN
InternetDefault** (this setting is only seen on the actual IP panel)
**If you leave the actual IP panel connection method to "Default" it will follow the LAN/WAN/Internet setting as applied in EHX
