Matrix: What are the standard diagnostic ECS event log options?

REQUEST INFOSelecting “Request Info” in the Properties pane of the ECS Event Log screen will display a “Request Matrix Information” screen which will allows a number of matrix parameters to be set or displayed.   Select the required function in the left pane and the click on the ‘Send’ button to send the request or update.  The default functions are described below.
Matrix OverviewCauses information about the current matrix status to be sent to the matrix event log.  Typically used to verify firmware versions, boot proms, view error messages from the frame or panels. IP Address DumpOutputs information on the current matrix IP address information to the event log. Network Status InfoThe current network status of the matrix is output to the matrix event log. Comms TestInitiates a network communications test (NOTE - this applies to Drake 4000 frames only)
 Comms Test ResultsOutputs the results of the last communications test performed to the matrix event log

 Ethernet StatsOutput the statistics of ethernet transactions logged such as packet losses etc to the matrix event log. Change IP AddressThis function allows the primary and secondary IP address of the target matrix to be set. These addresses correspond to the LAN1 and LAN2 connectors on the rear of the CPU card (see the Omega or Median Matrix manuals) or the Eclipse-32 or Eclipse PiCo unit (LAN 1 only).  Select interface 1 or 2 (LAN1 or LAN2 port) and enter the required IPaddress, subnet mask and default gateway and click on ‘Send’ to update the matrix.Note: Changing the IP address parameters may result in the ECS PC losing contact with the matrix and may require the ethernet configuration of the PC to be changed. CustomAllows request parameters to be entered manually for downloading to the matrix.
