How can I record from the Matrix or send selected audio to a mixer?

In ECS and PGMWIN (PGMWIN does it a bit differently, but this is a good guide) there is via a tab you can open called LOCAL ADVANCED. There, in its FORCED LISTEN tab, you can select the audio from any port on the vertical (left-hand side) of the chart and route it to any port on the horizontal (Upper) side. You select it by right clicking on the cross-point you desire and selecting "on". This way, any one, or combination of audio sources can be routed to a port. Let's say you set up a DIRECT port to go to a recorder or to a mixing console from the matrix. This is how you route the appropriate audio sources to that port. If you are sending more than one source to that record port, open the CROSSPOINT VIEWER, that you can access when online with a matrix, and you can mix the individual levels that you've selected to go to the record port. You do this by right clicking on the cross-point and adjusting the level with the slider bar.
Whichever port you are using to export the audio from, use the BLUE pair (pins 4 & 5 of the RJ45) to your recorder minus and hot, respectively.
