Matrix: What is the purpose of the EHX Delta frame LAN / PNL feedthru port?
On the new Eclipse High speed Delta frame the user has an RJ45 port on the front of the frame that simply feeds thru to the rear of the frame. The feedthru RJ45 port can be used to make a computer connection to the LAN 1 or LAN 2 rear panel card when the frame is mounted in a rack thus eliminating the need to get behind the frame in the rack to make a temporary PC direct connection or the user can connect the feedthru port to an MVX-A16 port to allow the user to make a temporary connection to user panel for testing purposes without getting behind the frame to make the connection.
