Matrix: IVC-32 IP card properties screen options

The IVC-32 card must be configured before it can be used.  To set the IP parameters click on the ‘Card Properties’ link on the lower right of the Matrix Hardware display.  This will display the settable parameters for the IVC-32 card.

IP PortSets the TCP/IP port number to be used by the IVC-32 card when communicating over IP.  This parameter should not normally be changed from the default value unless all the IP panels or Concert server are also updated to use the new TCP/IP port number.  If this is not done the IP panels or Concert server will not be able to communicate with the IVC-32 card.  Eclipse system administrators are advised to check with network administrators or IT that the default port may be used without causing a conflict with any other application on the network. If the IP port number is changed ports 512 and 1300 should not be used as these ports are already used by by ECS.  The Eclipse system administrator should check with the network administrator or IT to obtain a port number to use.
IP AddressClick on the selected fields to manually enter the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway for the IVC-32 card selected are enabled.
External IP AddressThe IVC-32 external IP address is used to communicate with Vseries-IP panels over an internet  / WAN link or if the Matrix sits behind a corporate router / firewall.
External IP Address IP PortExternal TCP/IP port used when communicating directly with the IVC-32 card using the External IP address.
Panel CodecsThe ‘Show ports’ links will display which ports on the IVC-32 cards are configured to use the G722 codec.
