We have upgraded a matrix from ECS 524 to EHX V7.0
The upgrade to EHX gives the customer a higher maximum number of ports  compared to ECS ...
Can you check why I get an error message when adding new card and why i can't add more than 16 ports to St-1 matrix?
In my system
St-0 matrix has:
6 x mvxa16
2 x madi 64
1 x fiber count 192
How much MVXA16 cards can we add in this matrix with ECS 5.2 ?

St-1 matrix has :
6 x mvxa16
2 x madi 64
2 x E-Que SPLITTER
26 x BELTPACKS (Hardware units)
32 x BELTPACKS (roles)
1 x fiber count 192

Answer: At ECS 5.2.4 you had the following limits:

• 240 audio ports

• 496 time-slots

Every audio port used up one time-slot as well. So a 64 port MADI card would use 64 audio ports and 64 time-slots.
An E-FIB set to 192 trunks uses 0 audio ports (as long as there are no cards with audio parts in a slot after it ) and 192 time-slots.

 At 7.0 and later you have these limits:

• 496 time-slots No more audio port limit.

You can hover the mouse cursor over one of the bars (in the EHX resource chart) to see the current count as well as the limit.

• 96 MVX + 128 MADI = 224 audio ports (to 240 limit you have 16 left)

• 96 MVX + 128 MADI + 192 FIBRE = 416 time-slots (80 time-slots left)

• You can add 1 MVX card (independent of fibre count because you are closer to the audio ports limit)
