Matrix: Can ECS software detect an i-station with 3 or less display key modules?

Question - I have an i-station with two display key modules.  When it is connected to ECS 5.2 the panel programming screen shows 4 display key modules.  Which two modules should I program on the ECS panel programming screen?
Answer - use the two modules on the left hand side of the panel programming screen, that is module one should be the left hand most module that contains the CLEAR and ANSWER keys and next most left hand module.  That would provide the user with 14 programmable keys on the i-station.  If the user programs the next two modules in ECS the keys will not show up on the i-station (key modules would need to be added to the i-station).
The i-station programming in ECS doesn't allow for different i-station module counts, that is no programming mimics exist for panels with 3 or less modules and the matrix hardware port selection column only has one i-station type available for programming, this is the 4 module version of the i-station.
