Matrix: How to configure a latching footswitch for V-Series panels
The ECS function "Activate Talk Switch - 1" and "Activate Talk Switch - 2" for Logic Input 1 and Logic Input 2 on V-Series is by design always non-latching, even if a normal key to the destination is allowed to be latch. To work around this choose "Select Route" for the Logic Input instead. On the following Route Selector screen, pick the destination you would like the foot switch to activate a route to.This makes the panel GPI follow the key action like it was a normal key including latch / non-latch.
