MVX-A16 firmware H8 Renesas FDT upgrader asking for unlock code on Windows 10 PC
Renesas FDT 4.09 rev 2 when installed on a Windows 10 PC will prompt for an unlock code during start-up. To fix this issue you will need to download FDT 4.09 rev 3 https://www.renesas.com/en-us/software/D3017335.html. Once the FDT software is upgraded from rev 2 to rev 3 the software will no longer ask for an unlock code.
Note: To download the Renesas software you will need to register with the website.
