Matrix: Can the Dante card work directly with AES67 / Livewire? Or will we need Dante controller to set which AES67 channels to use?
The DanteController S/W is needed to configure the E-DANTE card and select which channels are used for AES-67 operation…even if there are no other Dante devices on the network.
Note E-Dante card can be the master clock. However werecommend using a third party PTP clock source as this is always best
