Matrix: How do I get send call signal from a Encore PL system into an Eclipse matrix system
Is it possible to make acall signal FROM a Party-Line unit TO the Eclipse Matrix and have a panel show the incoming call signal
Answer: YesIn ECS to make a call signal from the wired PL port appear on the panels use the ECS local advance Preset Call/ Talk/ Listen functions
Go to ECS local advance > Preset call or talk screenSet a crosspoint from the wired PL port (CCI-22 or EF-701M) port to the Panels you want it tocall,
NoteA) on Panel settings – Call signal tone must be enabled in theAdvanced settings for the panel
B) When the panel receives call signal it will only generate a call tone at the panel there is no flashing LEDC) If you want the panel to flash an LED then you must also set a crosspoint in the PRESET TALK of the local advance screensee attached for more details on the ECS local advance Preset Call/ Talk/ Listen functions
