EHX FreeSpeak Antennas Power: What the maximum cable length for antennas being powered by the splitter?
SYSTEM TYPE
PLEASE NOTE: This solution is for E1 (EQue or FSII Base) connections ONLY. Please see our AoIP Guide for PoE requirements with the FSII or FS Edge IP Transceivers.
As of V10, the numbers have been revised. If the antenna is being powered by the splitter, the maximum cable length between the splitter and the antenna is 100m. It is recommended to power the antenna(s) locally.
See attached for more information on cable gauge.
The amount of current a FSII antenna (E1) uses FSII Antenna 110mA when DC locally powered @24V with 5 BPs connected
24V DC (nominal) 120mA - 15V DC (minimal) 240mA
The amount of current a FSII splitter uses Splitter 180mA when DC locally powered @24V (not including Antennas)
