Term: What function does the Matrix +3 / ECS-Eclipse "Applications" tab provide?

Each interface port (FOR-22, CCI-22, TEL-14) can be individually configured to meet user requirements by selecting the various port settings like latch disable, auto-listen etc. There are 3 common application modes (Partyline, Four wire / direct, Two-way Radio). When one of these application modes is set. The configuration software will auto-select the most commonly used port settings.
In Matrix +3 / PGM-WIN there is a separate application tab for each interface.

In Eclipse / ECS , the application function is part of the advanced settings screen.
