Partyline: Are Clear-Com 4-pin XLR female headsets compatible with the Telecast Copperhead 3200 camera interface?

Question:  I have a large number of Clear-Com party-line headsets (CC-95, CC-26k, CC-300). Can I use them with a Telecast Copperhead 3200 camera interface?
Answer:  The Copperhead 3200 camera interface is setup to accept a 5-pin XLR male connector.  In order to use Clear-Com standard 4-pin XLR female headsets the user will have to make an adapter cable (4-pin XLR male to 5-pin XLR male).
Use pin per pin wiring, that is pin 1 to pin 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and 4 to 4.  The remaining pin 5 is not used on the Clear-Com headset.
Alternatively you can purchase the X5 variants of the Clear-Com headsets (CC-95-X5, CC-26K-X5 or CC-300-X5 headsets) which are pin compatible
