Matrix: Is there an easy way to tell who is monitoring a V-Panel?
Question: I see the small ear icon on my V-Panel reply key which is an indication that someone is monitoring my V-Panel's outbound audio calls. Can I easily determine who / what port in the system is monitoring my calls?
Answer: When a user notes the tiny ear icon in the reply key led area go to the menu button and activate it. Once the blue led is lit press the “SYS INFO” button or lever key and press/toggle it, you should see “MONITORS” as one of the menu items. Press / toggle the key for “MONITORS” to see the panel name/port monitoring the specific panel of interest.
If the "SYS INFO" menu is not available and you have access to ECS the crosspoint monitor can be used to view all active talks and or listens in the system. Look for your panel name in the crosspoint monitor and observe any arrowhead icons relating to your panel to determine which panel / port in the system has a listen key active to your panel.
