Partyline: How do I activate a TW-47 interface to transmit to a 2way radio from a MS-704 main station?

Question:  I have an MS-704 main station that is attached to a TW-47 interface and TK-3160 radio.  When I activate the talk channel to the TW-47 / Tk-3160 I don't hear the PL audio transmitted to the 2way radio.  I can hear the 2way radio audio on the PL channel.  Am I doing something wrong?
Answer:  A relay in the TW-47 interface provides the required “push-to-talk” transmitter “keying” of the connected 2-way radio. This relay is activated when the “call signal” on the Clear-Com intercom channel is detected. The relay contacts, in conjunction with a custom-made cable connected from the TW-47 to the 2-way radio, allow for correct transmitter keying to the 2-way radio.
