Matrix: If I substiute an E-Dante card in a HX frame, will it pick the current Dante configuration?
Question: I have a spare E-Dante card, if I sub it into an Eclipse HX frame will it automatically pickup the Dante configuration
from the previous card?
Answer: No, the Dante configuration will not automatically transfer over to the new E-Dante card. The user will either have to
rebuild the channel subscriptions manually or load a previously saved configuration file into the Dante Controller software.
On the Dante controller panel the user can click on the Star icon to save a Dante Controller configuration file with a
.xml extension.
To load the saved Dante controller file the user can click on the Folder icon to load it into the controller software.
Dante Controller provides the user the option to save a configuration of multiple Dante networked devices or just a
single networked device.
