I have a client who wishes to adapt a set of David Clarke aviation headsets to operate with an HME DX 100 intercom.

Q: I have a client who wishes to adapt a set of David Clarke aviation headsets to operate with an HME DX 100 intercom.  I am aware that some intercomsystems supply a voltage to the headsets that could cause damage and I do notwant to risk damaging the DP’s headsets or the Grips beltpack. Are you able to advise me onwhat adaptations., if any, would be required to make this request work.
A: Our DX beltpac will not harm the dynamic microphone in theDavid Clarke headsets. We also offer adapters that will provide easyconnectivity between the  DX mini DIN connector on the beltpac and theDavid Clarke headset XLR connector.
