Matrix: Can I use my V-series panel to make online assignments to fixed groups
Yes you can use your V-series panel in Assignment mode (which is enabled by ECS) to make online changes to - Partyline - members- IFB (sources and destinations) - Fixed Group - members
Using a V-series panel in assignment mode. The V-series panel only deals with localports and local partylines and local groups etc..
When assigning members to a Fixed GroupThe members that need to be added to a group must be set upas listen keys on your panel- You can only add/delete members oflocal Fixed groups - You can only add/delete remote matrix members to alocal group.... IF that remote member has first been assigned by ECS- You cannot add/delete any members of a remote Fixed group (a fixed group that was first declared on a remote matrix which is part of your networked system)
