Matrix: How do I setup a new Matrix +3 party-line?
To create a new Matrix +3 party-line:
1.) From the Matrix +3 setup screen select "Hardware and Labels" / Party-Lines. From this screen select an unused
party-line, rename it to a new 5 character name, make it available and click on Apply.
2.) Go to the Configure screen and select the "Groups" tab, then select Party-Lines to view the new PL.
3.) Double click on the new party-line to edit it, the screen background will change from grey to white to indicate edit mode.
4.) From this screen the user can now attach interfaces as permanent members of a party-line. Double click on on the
desired interface to move it from the available members to attached members.
5.) Once the party-line is configured with permanent members click on the Apply button to update frame.
The Select New button takes the user out of edit mode.
Note: If the user is only adding Panels to the party-line skip steps 2 through 5. Instead go to the Configure /
Key Assignments tab and place the party-line labels as talk and listen keys on the desired panels.
