Matrix: What specific settings does EHX require for 2-way radios using FOR-22 interfaces?

Question:  We have an Eclipse HX system and our integrator constructed some cables for use with the FOR-22 to
our Motorola 2-way radios.  The inegrator indicated there's a setting we need to check on the FOR-22. Do you have
documentation on what the settings need to be in EHX and or on the interface card itself?
Answer:  Ok, the settings for Eclipse HX FOR-22 interface for 2-way radios:
1.  Open EHX software, then navigate to the Hardware / Cards and Ports Menu.
2.  Highlight the specific MVX-A16 port that is declared as the FOR-22 radio port so that the advanced settings column
on the right hand side is activated. (Do this by clicking on the PORT NUMBER, just to the left of the PORT FUNCTION of that port)
3.  Open the Basic Options category, the screen should now look like this:

4.  Scroll down to the Module Application, the setting should be set to “Two-Way Radio”.  If it is set to something else,
use the pull down to select 2-way radio and once this is done go to the Apply Changes to Matrix button and apply
change to frame.  Selecting 2-way radio enables the relay associated with the FOR-22 port to key the radio.
5.  You may want to double check the audio level setting on the FOR-22 interface card, this is done manually by manually
pulling the FOR-22 card from the frame (the cards are "hot-swap-able") and checking the audio output jumper settings, typically for most handheld 2-way
radios you will want to use the “MIC” position (see diagram below):

6.  The final thing you might have to do is manually adjust the input / output levels on the FOR-22 card using the
front panel manual send / receive controls.
