Matrix: What are the differences between using a IP panel and AES connected panel?

With thenew 3 audio ch over IP on panels, what is the advantage of AES panels?
V-Series:  3-Channel IP vs 2x Channel AES  Technically AES provides better Audio Quality and Lower Audio Latency.  IP is better for supporting both local and remote connectivity over anyavailable IP infrastructure and doesn’t require dedicated cable infrastructure. Our 7.5 KHz audio bandwidth over IP is perfectly acceptable in most applications, but in some applications the IP latency could cause an issue.
The IP panel allows for 3 audio (channels) streams to /from the panel , while AES panels only allow for 2 channels of audio
