Matrix: Can an E-QUE card in splitter mode support direct connection of a CEL-TA on ports 1 and 5?
Question: Can an E-QUE card in splitter mode support the direct connection of an CEL-TA antenna on port 5? I have a splitter on port 1 supporting five antennas, I simply want to add one extra antenna on the card without having to support the additional expense of a second splitter.
Answer: Yes, port 5 will support either the direct connection of one CEL-TA antenna or a second splitter. Ports 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 do not work in splitter mode.
Note you as per normal any splitter or antenna that is connected directly to a EQUE card will need to be locally powered.
