Matrix: If I manually upgrade the firmware on a V-Series panel will the IP settings remain intact?

Question:  I'm upgrading multiple V-Series panels from ECS 5.2.4 to EHX version 7.00, the panels are connected to an IVC-32 card so each v-panel has a static IP address associated with it.  When I upgrade the panels will the static IP settings (panel IP address, gateway, server IP address, subnet mask, LAN connection type) remain intact?
Answer:  If you are manually upgrading the v-panel firmware using the TFTP method (application code, kernel code, u-boot code) then the IP settings for the individual panels will be reset to their default values (DHCP enabled, static IP setting reset to default as well as the panel ID setting).  It is advisable to copy each panel's static IP settings and panel ID name as it will need to be re-entered after the updates are performed manually using the TFPT server software / PC.
If you are only upgrading the v-panel application code or display module code via EHX firmware updater wizard then the IP settings will remain Note: upgrading the Vpanel app code via EHX may take 20 mins or more to complete for all panels connected to the matrix upgrading the panel display module code via EHX takes only a couple of minutes to complete for all panel connected to the matrix
