Matrix: What port function should I select if I'm linking systems with 4wire tie-lines?

When linking 2 systems with 4 wires (tie lines) these are the things to do:1. Enable the ports to be connected to the remote system as direct,2. Configure the direct label in panels, Fixed groups or Party lines as needed3. Make sure that the audio pairs in the physical cables are correctly wired, this is IN with OUT and vice versa. To test, you can use a panel talking directly to the direct label on each matrix, it will behave as any other audio source.
When you select "direct" you can add that label to any panel and/or add it to a fixed group or a party line and this cannot be done with a "trunk" port type. This is because when "trunk" is selected the system is expecting an intelligent link between the 2 systems.
