After nearly 20 years of service, in October 2013, the Commander matrix range was announced it will be retired from the Trilogy product list.

For existing customers, the current plan for end of support of the Commander matrix product range is 2020. The Commander is superseded with the Gemini IP intercom matrix product range and offers an attractive upgrade path as most existing Commander panels will work also with the Gemini system.
