Can I dial out to a telephone line using a ICS1008/16 panel

Do you happen to know if the ICS 1008E panel will still work with the HX-Delta/Median frame if I connect using an MVX card

  • Answer: yes ICS1008E panels will work on HX-Delta / Median frame

 

Can you confirm if it would be possible to connect an ICS panel to an LQ box then bring it in to the matrix using an IPA card.

  • Answer : for ICS panel you will need to use x2 LQ boxes. Any panel connect via  analogue (MVX) to LQ needs to have another LQ at the other end   

  • ICS panel > LQ <network>LQ > Matrix-MVX port

 

 Is it possible to trigger a DDI (speed dial) from the ICS panel that could call a SIP line on an LQ box interfaced to the frame.

  • Answer : yes this is possible – use a stacked key to trigger a speed dial

  • ICS panel <matrix>> LQ-SIP
