We have the temperature alarm in our delta frame sounding. The frame/cards also do feel hot. The temperature from the event log is – 65 degrees

 

recommendations

  1. check that the fan/alarm card works and that the fans move freely; a hardware fault may be present.

  2. Swap Dante card #2 (all ports empty) with IPA card #1.

    This arranges the cards as Dante (slot 1), IPA (slot 2), Dante (slot 3), IPA (slot 4).

    This prevents the two hot IPA cards from sitting adjacent to each other

Customer reported that the fan/alarm card (part # T11204-1-SP) was faulty and after replacing it, the matrix no longer runs hot

They also moved the cards around and introduced some forced air cooling
