Matrix: How do I configure Agent IC roles in EHX V15.0

Matrix: How do I configure Agent IC roles in EHX V15.0

Using EHX V15.0 , Agent IC devices still use a fixed role

Using ARC (Access, Resource, Configuration) see EHX: ARC - Access, Resource, Configuration

You can allocate physical ports to be used on a pooled basis and service different end devices.

ARC : Allows the customer to configure for example 10 free floating ports but have 20 h/w devices in the field. Therefore the first 10 devices that log in again access to the system, it allows you to only use the number of ports needed concurrently and not purchase a port per device

To configure Agent IC / Station IC using V15.0 follow these steps

Goto

  1. Card & ports screen - configure the port(s) to Celluar/panel/client

  2. Access screen - create access record type Celluar/panel/ client  AND set IP user ID / Password ID

  3. Roles screen - create Agent IC client role (and assign labels / keys)

  4. Go back to Access screen - select the same access record you created (in step #2) and set the preferred role and fixed by EHX options
