EHX Apply Map to Matrix may fail with a System Error stating something similar to the below message.

This is due to an Anti-Virus, or similar security service, blocking EHX from using the compiler dll at the indicated location. An exception can be made to allow EHX to use this compiler.

Create an EHX Exception for firewall rules

The steps below are provided as general reference, each machine may be slightly different and require additional exceptions for EHX to be made. You may need to add an exception to Windows Defender/Windows Firewall, Norton,

1. In Windows, navigate to Settings > Windows

2. Navigate through Windows Defender Security Center to Firewall & Network Protection

3. Towards the bottom of the page, choose Allow an app through firewall

   Open

   

4. On the pop-up window, choose Change Settings

   1. Authenticate with Administrator credential.

5. On the lower-tight of the window, choose Allow another app…

    

6. Choose Browse, then navigate to and select the EHX Client application

   1. A typical install will place this here: C:\Program Files\ClearCom\EHX Configuration System 11.1

   2. Select Add
      
      

       

       

7. Close settings, applying and saving.

8. Close and restart EHX. Then re-apply the map to matrix.
