Matrix: V-Panel Will Only come up in Role Mode

Issue was an older V-Panel only coming up in role mode, even though “role based” was unchecked in EHX. Panel worked fine, but had to have a role and asked for role selection on startup. Deleting and remaking the port did not help.

Solution was deleting all the IP settings from the panel and re-entering them. The panel then came up normally in non-role based mode.

 

To delete all IP settings on a panel goto IP setup > netsetup > clear 

this clear out all settings and put the panel back to default - then redo the connection and see if it takes ,
