How To Install Virtual Client or SIP License on LQ

This provide directions on how to install an already purchased Virtual Client (for Agent-IC and Station-IC) or SIP license on your LQ.

These directions are to be used after the license has already been purchased. If you need to purchase, please contact your Clear-Com Sales Representative or email our corporate office support@clearcom.com

Instructions

Once purchased, the license will come to you via email from our factory or corporate office. In the document you will find a passcode.

Log in to the LQ’s browser (CCM) and under License, you have two options, “Add License Online” and “Add Licenses Offline.”

Add License Online - Recommended

The easiest and quickest way is online, but this requires the LQ to be able to reach our server over the internet.  If you choose this way, enter the ticket ID you received with your purchase order, then click on the check mark.  The LQ will reach our server and verify the ID and activate the license(s) if everything is correct. 

Add License Offline

The second option is offline activation for when you do not have an access to the internet for the device. 

LQ CCM

  • Download the context file by clicking on "Get Context File" (.WibuCmRaC) from the LQ - CCM/Device/General/License

Clear-Com’s License Portal

  • Go to Clear-Com License Activation Portal

  • Enter the License Ticket ID you got with your purchase

    You have now entered the My Licenses page

  • Verify the contents of your License Ticket and press “Activate Licenses”

    You have now entered the License Binding page

  • Select the License Binding that contains the word “Embedded” (left side option at time of writing)

    You have now entered the Available Licenses page

  • Press “File Based License Transfer” (lower right hand corner at the time of writing)

  • Choose the context file you have downloaded from your LQ

  • Select Licnese you want to apply and press “Start Activation Now”

  • Download the License File (.WibuCmRaU)

LQ CCM

  • Upload the License file by clicking on "Upload License File" from the LQ - CCM/Device/General/License and select the .WibuCmRaU file to load into the LQ

  • Reboot the LQ
