Dynam-EC can be used to monitor IFB audio.

By adding a port to the Associated Monitor we are able to monitor the audio of an IFB Destination and Return.

Clicking the DL (Destination Listen) button - you will hear the same audio as the IFB destination (i.e. mix + interrupt)

or clicking the RL (Return Listen) button - you will hear the incoming return (i.e. pre-fade talent)

the DL or RL buttons route the respective audio to the Associated Monitor port.

In the example below a Direct port “monitor” has been configured as the Associated Monitor within Dynam-EC.

Port label IN = IFB source

Port label Panel2 = IFB destination

Pressing “DL” button will route the audio (IN + interupt) to the “monitor port”, allowing the operator to monitor the same audio the IFB_Destination is hearing

Pressing “RL” button will route panel2’s return audio (for example mic input) to the “monitor port ”, allowing the operator to monitor the talents return audio (i.e pre-fade from the talent).

Pressing the button again will turn off the respective monitor route.
