FreeSpeak Icon 1.9 GHz Beltpack
With eight channel buttons and a configurable Reply key, the Icon beltpack is a compact wireless intercom panel. This gives users incredible communication scale with both teams (partyline) and individuals (directs).
R4.0 Release (Jun-25)
V-Series IrisX Keypanel Support
Support of up to 32 V-Series IrisX panels with Essential features using I.V. Ports giving the 1RU unit matrix like capabilities for end users.
Note – Internal Background: Arcadia will allow connections to V-Series Classic Keypanels as well.
HelixNet Four-Channel Beltpack Support
This beltpack gives two additional talk paths for users giving the already versatile IP based beltpack even more capability.
The R4 firmware update provides an interesting feature where Program Audio can be independently assigned to the four-channel beltpack. Being able to listen to Program Audio in addition to the configured four channels of audio communication almost gives the beltpack an extra half-channel.
Flexible Port Allocation between HelixNet and I.V. Ports
HelixNet enabled channels can be swapped for a higher number of I.V. Connections which are used for I.V. Direct or I.V. connected V-Series panels.

V-Series IrisX Keypanel Support

Up to 32 V-Series Iris/IrisX Keypanels can be connected to Arcadia via the AES67 system interconnectivity option in addition to those that may be connected via I.V. Ports. V-Series Iris/IrisX Keypanels connected to Arcadia via the AES67 do not subtract from any other maximum port or transceiver capacity of Arcadia. This connectivity option should be used on AES67 capable network
IFB Essential – Interruptible Foldback Arcadia IFB configuration enables users to momentarily interrupt an otherwise continuous audio routing by activating an assigned talk key. When active, the talk key activation dims (-3dB to -30dB) or mutes the program audio currently routed to the IFB output. Inputs and outputs can be freely assigned to any Dante, I.V. Direct, 4-Wire, or 2-Wire port.
The system supports up to 100 IFBs, with each capable of managing up to 6 inputs and outputs.
Licensed Ports – Increase Maximum number of Licensed Ports has increased to 200.
Enhancements
Keyset Configuration – In-Use Tally FreeSpeak Beltpacks, V-Series Keypanels and Arcadia Front Panel now include configuration options for InUse Tally to be selectively turned on or off per keyset. In-Use Tally cannot be disabled for Reply & Call keys.
Keyset Configuration – Talk Group Interlock FreeSpeak Beltpacks and V-Series Keypanels now include configuration options for Talk Group Interlock per keyset to ensure that only 1 Talk Interlock Group member is active at any given time.
Keyset Assignments – FreeSpeak Icon & Edge Special Keys FreeSpeak Icon & Edge keysets can now be assigned tactile control of beltpack behavior using key assignments using the special keys. These include Dark Mode, Loudspeaker and Flashlight toggle control.
Logic – IFB GPI can be configured to remotely interrupt an IFB and activate GPO when an IFB is in the state of interrupt.
HelixNet Four Keyset Beltpack – Binaural -X5 Variant The beltpacks front panel includes the ability to pan keysets 1,3, PGM and 2, 4 between left and right ears.
HelixNet Four Keyset Beltpack – Front Panel Program Audio Assignment The beltpack now includes a front panel menu item that allows the Program Audio Listen-Only keyset to be assigned from the beltpack menu whether it is assigned a Role or operating freewheeling from the system in a Local Configuration.
