Arcadia: Arcadia port licensing allocation

Arcadia: Arcadia port licensing allocation

I have a question regarding using Arcadia license keys

Let’s say we have received a 48-port license—can we distribute this across two Arcadia systems? For example, allocating 32 ports to one unit and 16 ports to another?

I ask this because we received only one code (ticket ID) from Clear-Com, and my concern is whether the license can be split across two Arcadia units, or if it becomes tied to the first system where it is activated.

In the installation guide, there is a dropdown menu that seems to allow selection of the number of ports to assign from the license. This suggests the possibility of partial allocation, but I would like to reconfirm with you to avoid any irreversible steps or issues later.

Looking forward to your clarification.

Answer:

The Arcadia license keys are NOT tied to a particular Arcadia (no system ID or dongle code is needed)

Yes – if you purchase a 48 key license which is made up of 3 blocks of 16 , you can apply

Block# 1-2 to Arcadia # 1 and

Block# 3 to Arcadia # 2

The Arcadia license works in similar fashion to LQ, see Video - Arcadia Licensing
